About Radio City Music Hall
Radio City Music Hall is an indoor theater and entertainment venue located at the heart of Manhattan in New York City. The Music Hall opened to the public on December 27, 1932. It is spread over 2 acres.
Radio City Music Hall is now leased to and operated by Madison Square Garden, Inc. Its first proposed name was International Music Hall and it was also called the Showplace of the Nation.
Radio City Music Hall has been designed by architect Edward Durell Stone, and its interior is designed by Donald Deskey in the Art Deco style. For a long period in time, Radio City Music Hall was the most important visitor destination in NYC.
